Winter in Feldthurns/Velturno
A White Wonderland
In winter the Zolerhof farm and its surroundings transform into a winter wonderland. Fun in the snow begins on the meadow behind the farm, where you can toboggan and go sledding.
Just 1.5 kilometers away from our farm is the small ski area, Maders, with a drag lift. For ambitious skiers, the tourism association offers a Skisafari, where you can experience five different ski-areas in one week without using your car. Nearby ski-regions include: Plose above Brixen/Bressanone, Gitschberg near Maransen, Jochtal, Gröden, Seiseralm, Kronplatz above Bruneck/Brunico in Pustertal, and Obereggen in Eggental/Val d’ Ega.
Other outdoor activities include snowshoeing and tobogganing.
Or, you can shop at one of the traditional Christmas markets in Brixen/Bressanone, Klausen/Chuisa, Bozen/Bolzano, Sterzing/Vipiteno, Bruneck/Brunico, or Meran/Merano.
